Subject: Re: [tm-pubsubj] Positions, process and PubSubj
All, The TC seems newly invigorated and all parties are back in place so I hardly feel like I can bow out now and miss all the fun! I'm still on the mailing list so will renew with OASIS before 11/1 and hope not to be discontinued. I'm happy to continue as secretary and equally happy to turn it over to someone else (or share the wealth). Glad we will all still be working together. ---Suellen ********************************************* --On Monday, October 27, 2003 9:59 AM -0500 Patrick Durusau <Patrick.Durusau@sbl-site.org> wrote: > Bernard, > > I think we have all known each other and worked together long > enough that the various position questions are largely a matter > of complying with the process that is required. > > Since we are now procedurally valid, let's turn our attention to > substative questions and see if we can capatalize on all the good > work that Mary reminded me has already been done for PubSubj. > > It is my hope that the work in this TC (and other related ones) > will be so relevant and important to both its current and > potential members, that not only will our current members stay, > but we will attract others to share the load that has been borne > by you and others for a long time. > > Lots of work left to do and I think plenty of hats to go around! > > Hope everyone is at the start of a great week! > > Patrick > > Bernard Vatant wrote: >> The bad news is that I've just got aware of the ballot, and that >> it is too late for me to vote, by two days :( >> The good news is that I have the right to access the details of >> the ballot results on Kavi :) >> >> What I get is the following >> >> ================================================= =============== >> ==== >> >> Option 1 >> Wrap up the TC and bring its work as input to some relevant part >> of W3C. 3 votes (25%) >> >> Option 2 >> Keep the TC going after serious charter revision, and some kind >> of provision for support from companies. >> 2 votes (17%) >> >> Option 3 >> No need to change anything in the current charter and roadmap, >> keep business as usual. >> 7 votes (58%) >> >> Eligible members who have voted: 12 of 14 (86%) >> >> ================================================= =============== >> ==== >> >> That's a pretty clear input, so it's business as usual.
