Subject: Re: Charter: Participating Member conditions
Hi everyone without airing any corporate dirty linen much to eveybody's distaste, let me say, the company I work for may not be sufficiently enlightened to fly me around North America, let alone Europe for me to attend meetings. a stricture on personally attending f2f meetings, regardless where they are held and how often, simply starts a clock on my ability to be IN the committee. I cannot personally afford to pay for these plane flights just so I can stay in the group. whether I ultimately get to remain in the group or not I simply AM going to do topic maps development. Im not abt to let mngmnt kaddidle my future.
