Subject: [xtm-wg] RE: [topicmapmail] Smalltalk Implementation of Topic Maps
[Daniel Schweizer] how topicmaps could be a viable model for exploring complex software architectures. [WMJ] "exploring complex software architectures"? Review and try "Rigi" at http://www.rigi.csc.uvic.ca/Pages/download.html modeling of "complex software architectures" with topicmaps? I doubt it. Anybody challenge this opinion with a comprehensive example? [Daniel Schweizer] i started to implement a prototype topic map navigator in smalltalk. you may find a uml diagram representing the tm's core as attachment. would you agree to the architecture? what is wrong in my model, what is missing? Resp. shall i implement against XTM or iso13250 or..? [WMJ] Nice effort, but RationalRose does more. For whom you are building this tool? I hope some TM expert will verify your model. BTW You are second person in the history of this list to illustrate your text with a nice model. Congratulations.
