Subject: Re: [ubl-sbsc] UBL SBS business specification example - use of an SBS uri (and future url)

Folks,

Grattitude to Dale for responding about the
'type' attribute value for BPSS 2.0
http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/ubl-dev/200505/msg00023.html

For now, it seems that 'type=schema' refers
to the standard of the schema (i.e. XSD
compared to RNG) so the only value we
can use, it seems, for now is "other".

Dale has kindly offered to bring this up in
the TC.

Anyway, for now our example looks like
(in ebBPSS 2.0):

...
<BusinessDocument
 nameID="UBL-Invoice-1.0-SBS-1.0"
 name="UBL Invoice 1.0 Small Business Subset 1.0">
         <Specification
 nameID="urn:oasis:names:specification:ubl:schema:xsd:Invoice-1.0"
 name="UBL Invoice 1.0"

location="http://docs.oasis-open.org/ubl/cd-UBL-1.0/xsd/maindoc/UBL-Invoice-
1.0.xsd"
 type="schema"/>
         <Specification
 nameID="urn:oasis:names:tc:ubl:xpath:Invoice-1.0:sbs-1.0"
 name="UBL Invoice 1.0 Small Business Subset 1.0"
 location="http://???/xpaths/xml/XPath/Invoice-XPath.xml";
 type="other"/>
</BusinessDocument>
...

Still it should provide a good potential basis for
small business use of ebXML/UBL/SBS in etrading.

All the best

Stephen Green
