  PRELIMINARY AGENDA FOR UBL TC MEETING IN MONTRÉAL 4-8 AUGUST 2008

MEETING LOGISTICS

    The meeting will take place at the Best Western Hotel Europa,
    1240 rue Drummond (www.europahotelmtl.com/).  Meeting room
    details will be provided in an update.

FORMAT

    Monday morning: Opening plenary
    Monday afternoon through Thursday morning: Breakouts
    Thursday afternoon: Closing plenary and celebration
    Friday morning: Work session for North American participants

EXPECTED ATTENDANCE

    Attending by phone: Tim McGrath (vice chair) for morning
       plenary; Peter Borresen for certain work sessions

    NOTE: Observers and additional members are welcome to attend
    given advance notice to the chair (bosak@ibiblio.org).

TIME ZONE (UTC/GMT-4)

    Morning plenary calls typically begin at 09:15 local time
    (fifteen minutes after the nominal start time).  To find the

TELEPHONE CONFERENCE INFORMATION

    Dial-in access will be provided during the plenaries at a
    number to be determined.

AC POWER AT UBL MEETINGS

    Every participant using a device that consumes AC power is
    reminded to bring a three-way tap to the meeting room in which
    he or she intends to participate.  Canadian power is 60 Hz
    110-120 VAC.

INTERNET ACCESS

    Free wireless internet access is available from most rooms
    in the Hotel Europa.

MEALS AND DRINKS

    Attendees are on their own for meals and refreshments; dozens
    of eateries are located within a short walk of the meeting
    place.
