I would propose that the BusinessDirectory contain an ASBIE to a ABIE "BusinessCardReference" rather then "BusinessCard".  This is because we don't want a document type to be used in an ASBIE.  The BusinessDirectory would then refer to the set of BusinessCards (separate documents) rather than include them.

Something like...
- cac:BusinessCardReference (1..n) 
     - cbc:ID (0..1)
     - cac: DocumentReference (0..1)
