Subject: Re: Minutes of Thursday April 13, 2000
MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING of the OASIS PROCESS ADVISORY COMMITTEE, 2000-04-13 The PAC met from 5:00-7:00 pm EST Thursday 13 April, 2000 Chaired by: Jon Bosak (bosak@eng.sun.com) Present were: Terry Allen (tallen@sonic.net) Jon Bosak (bosak@eng.sun.com) Robin Cover (robin@isogen.com) Eduardo Gutentag (eduardo@eng.sun.com) G. Ken Holman <gkholman@cranesoftwrights.com> Deborah Lapeyre (dalapeyre@pop.mindspring.com) Tommie Usdin (btusdin@mulberrytech.com) Lauren Wood (lauren@sqwest.bc.ca) The minutes from the last meeting were accepted. Resolutions 1. We welcomed Ken Holman to the group. 2. The major business was the continuing discussion and rewriting of the draft Basic Structural Decisions, based on the original emailed from the Chair 02/17/2000. 3. In the course of that discussion, we resolved the following, for the Chair to put into diplomatic language and present to the OASIS Board. Resolved: "We understand that the current default for mailing lists is 'Unarchived"; we recommend that it be set to "Archived" by default. This is a specific recommendation based on the general principle that we also resolved: "All material on the OASIS website should be publicly accessible, unless the OASIS Board determines that there is a good reason why it should not be." 3. As previously resolved, we adjourned until the next scheduled telephone meetings to be held on Wednesday, 2000.04.26 (starting at 2:00 pm EST) Thursday, 2000.04.27 (starting at 5:00 pm EST) Meeting adjourned 7:09 pm EST.
