Call for Nominations for Special Election

The recent Steering Committee annual election resulted in an open seat.

As required by the MS Process, the new Steering Committee has
addressed the open seat and has asked for a special election to fill
this seat. [1]  This election is to fill one seat that will expire
with the 2014 annual election in December.

Please submit your nominations to fill this one open seat to
nominations@oasis-open.org by 11 March 2013.

All nominees should submit their acceptance and a short message
explaining their qualifications for the position.  The acceptance
message must be received by 11 March 2013.

There will be a 14 day ballot period following nominations.

Please contact me with any questions about the election process.  Feel
welcome to contact members of the Steering Committee [2] to discuss
the responsibilities of SC membership.
