OASIS Press Release to Announce Approval of WS-Transaction

OASIS WS-TX TC members:
This press release has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 8 May. The deadline to
submit sponsor quotes has been extended to Friday, 4 May.

So far, I have received sponsor quotes from IONA, Microsoft, Red Hat, and SOA
Software.

The Consortium will distribute a press release in the event Web Services
Transaction Version 1.1 is approved as an OASIS Standard. Our target
distribution date will be 12 April (but is dependent on the final approval date
for the specification). 

*Recognition*
While OASIS deeply appreciates the contributions of all members to our
technical work, only Foundational- and Sponsor-level members elect to receive
promotional benefits, such as inclusion in announcements directed to the press.
The WS-Transaction press release will contain the following statement: 

"The WS-Transaction OASIS Standard was developed by representatives of Active
Endpoints, Adobe Systems, AmberPoint, BEA Systems, Fujitsu, Hitachi, IBM, IONA,
Microsoft, Nortel, Oracle, Red Hat, Ricoh, Sun Microsystems, TIBCO, and
others."

If you represent one of these organizations, and you do *not* wish to be
included in the press release, please notify me.

If you represent a Contributor-level organization participating in the OASIS
WS-Transaction TC, and you wish to receive visibility for your role in the
development of WS-Transaction, please contact peter.roden@oasis-open.org
immediately for information on upgrading your membership to take advantage of
this promotional benefit.

*Quotes*
Any Foundational- or Sponsor-level member of OASIS may submit a quote in
support of the approval of WS-Transaction--you do not have to be a member of
the OASIS WS-Transaction TC. Please email quotes to me, including a name and
title at your organization to whom the quote can be attributed.
