Subject: Re: [xcbf] conference call outcome
I think we should try to set that up in the New Year. It does not havce to be
an official Sub-Committee - just a group of Experts exploring avenues.
But if you want to explore with Tikky the establishment of an SC under the OASIS
TC to progress a revision of XCBF that would be modified (I don't like the term
"profile") to fully support SC37 needs, and particular to be fully CBEFF
aligned, I believe this could be useful if Fernando would have a will to support
the Fast-Tracking.
John L
PS I discussed this with Jamie in Korea, and he said there would be no objection
at all (indeed, positive encouragement) for the Fast Tracking of an OASIS Standard.
