Subject: RE: [xri] RE: Goodbye!
I too will be sorry to see you leave but life rolls on. Before you disappear please let me know if we should continue to keep Gemplus in the loop regarding the work we are undertaking and if so who you believe that we should use as a liaison point (Fred?) Take care and I hope we meet again. marc -----Original Message----- From: Drummond Reed [mailto:drummond.reed@cordance.net] Sent: Thursday, February 05, 2004 11:34 AM To: 'SERRET Xavier' Cc: xdi@lists.oasis-open.org; xri@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: [xri] RE: Goodbye! Xavier, We will miss you. We wish you the best on your new assignment, and please do impress Philips with the importance of XRI and XDI. Hi Drummond et al, I have to let you know that I will not be able to support the group any further, at least for a while. This has nothing to do with the group itself but with the fact that I will be changing job shortly. I will leave Gemplus definitely February 26, and by next month I will be working for Philips in an unrelated assignment. It's been an enormous pleasure working and learning with you and the rest of the team! Best regards!!! Xavier. -- Xavier Serret @ Gemplus Research. The press release is at: http://www.oasis-open.org/news/oasis_news_02_04_04.php Again, as a reminder, the first meeting will be a telecon at 2pm Pacific Time on Friday, Feb. 20. We will send the dial-in details a few days before the meeting. We apologize to those participants for whom this time is inconvenient, but it is literally impossible to choose a time that will work for all timezones involved with a global effort like XDI. We will strive to quickly develop a meeting and work schedule that will accommodate all participants from all countries and time zones. Best, =Drummond
