Membership
- Carmelo volunteer to undertake the contacting of vendors and mail lists
for new participation
- no-one on the committee at this time is prepared to undertake the
position of chair to replace the outgoing chair
- Karl: - other committees not having as critical a membership problem as
this group
- could consider moving generic issues (like the generic testing
framework) to the Conformance TC (Ken to contact Lynne)
- Lofton's action item:
- each working group is "ultimately responsible" for QA deliverables
in each of their own ways (which may involve relying on other groups)
- the dedicating of resources does not quite meet the requirement due
to committees pleading "poverty of resources"
- our committee should make a presentation to the XSL group
- needs a briefing paper for orientation for the group ahead of time
- Ken and Dave to prepare offline for presentation to the group
during their next face-to-face May 13-17
- possible to approach XSL group members at conferences the week of
May 20:
- Dave will be at the XML conference in Baltimore
- Ken will be at the XML conference in Barcelona
- contingencies:
- approach OASIS Conformance TC to undertake generic framework and
approach XSL working group to undertake testing of XSLT/XPath using the
framework
- QA working group looking at generic framework (note the mail archives
are public)
