If Michael so restricted, we want to have someone else
additional on the committee who is able to do so. We
understand that each organization gets one vote.

It is up to each organization to understand who gets to
designate the rep. There is no universal answer.

Hmmmmm, interesting first point.
If Michael does wear 2 hats here (Chair and IBM rep), this will result in
IBM not being able to propose/second motions for committee decision, as I
believe the Chair is restricted from doing so.
Further, as Norbert is currently the OASIS CTO, does this mean that he will
also serve as Datachannel's rep.

|    The ACXO shall initially consist of Michael Weiner of IBM as
|    the chair of the ACXO, the Executive Director of OASIS; the
|    OASIS CTO; and representatives of the following organizations:

|       Sun Microsystems
|       DataChannel
|       GCA
|       Documentum
|       Softquad
|       CommerceOne

If Michael is the chair, then IBM does not get another
representative.

| 3. Representation
|
|    Each member organization shall be entitled to designate one
|    principal and one alternate representative.  Principals and
|    alternates must be certified by the OASIS Secretary before
|    attending their first meeting.

On behalf of the member org, who designates, and to whom do
they send their designation?
