Infoteria Corporation Launches Worldwide Operations
Global XML Tools Vendor Opens Worldwide Headquarters in North America


BOSTON, Mass— September 5, 2000 — Infoteria Corporation, the XML software company, today launched global operations with the opening of its worldwide headquarters in Boston, Mass.  Infoteria, the XML software leader in the Pacific Rim, also maintains established corporate headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.  The new Boston-based location will market, and support Infoteria products in worldwide markets; the Tokyo corporate headquarters will continue to provide sales and support in Japan.  Research and development will continue in both centres.

Infoteria Corporation Worldwide is lead by CEO and President Timothy Browne, a veteran of IBM's Lotus Development Corporation.  Browne will lead the new worldwide headquarters in Boston, while co-founder, Yoichiro Hirano, will continue to direct corporate headquarters in Tokyo.

Since its founding, Infoteria has focused on building XML-based solutions that separate data from applications and systems, thereby enabling organizations to use data more intelligently and efficiently.  Infoteria's high-profile customer base, which includes companies such as NTT, Nortel Networks, and Unisys, is a testament to the increasing need for this technology.
