IDEAlliance  Announces Discounted Registration to OASIS Members at  The XML
Training Network!

The XML Training Network (XTN) is a new initiative of the IDEAlliance,
providing educational support to the XML Community.  Now, OASIS members can
take advantage of a 10% registration discount on all XTN courses through a
member benefits partnering program between OASIS & IDEAlliance. Interested
attendees just need to identify themselves as OASIS members during
registration to qualify.

XTN courses will begin in March of 2003 during the week of March 17 and will
be conducted in a classroom setting near the IDEAlliance offices in
Alexandria, VA. Two courses will be offered each day, so participants will
be able to choose the one that fits their needs. Daily Courses are
Interchangeable! <See the course descriptions at

experts with proven track records in XML training & development.

The initial curriculum will focus on XML, XSLT, XML Schema, and related
standards and technology. The course list includes:

- XML Syntax & Practices for Developers (March 17)
- Introduction to XSLT & XPath for Developers (March 18 & 19
- Concepts & Benefits of XML for Decision Makers  (March 17)
- XML Metadata Standards for Publishers (March 18)
- Making XML Documents (March 19)
- W3C XML Schema Essentials for Developers (March 20)
- Information Modeling for DTD & Schema Design (March 20)
- Understanding Topic Maps (March 21)
- XML & Databases (March 21)

Attendees can take one or several courses and can mix and match to make
their own customized curriculum. Check out the current XTN schedule
