Arbortext Draws Record Attendance to its Annual User Group Conference


ANN ARBOR, Mich., May 16, 2003 --Arbortext, Inc., a leading global
provider of XML-based software for content creation, editing and
multichannel publishing, today announced that its Annual User Group
Conference (AUGI), which recently took place in San Antonio, Texas, was
a record-breaking conference.

“We shattered all records!” said PG Bartlett, Vice President of
Marketing for Arbortext.  “We had 25% more attendees than the previous
year, more exhibitors, more speakers and more sponsorships than ever
before, with First Consulting Group being the Platinum sponsor.”

Additional sponsors included FileNet, Kontentsu, Data Conversion
Laboratory, Documentum and Epiance.

US Airways provided the conference keynote.  Other companies that
presented at AUGI 2003 included Aventis Pharmaceuticals, Facts and
Comparisons, General Dynamics Devcor, IBM, Medtronic, Motorola, SAP, SAS
Institute, SBC and Siemens Building Technologies.

Arbortext also announced the upcoming availability of Arbortext 5 during
AUGI 2003.  Arbortext 5 is designed to help medium and large enterprises
eliminate the substantial costs and pain associated with the
implementation of content systems to create and share information.  This
new version provides the business user with direct access to XML content
across the enterprise, which protects document integrity and enables
them to quickly and easily create applications for publishing dynamic
content to multiple types of media.

AUGI 2004
