Handling the "steering cards" in EPR engine is the most tricky and difficult part of the switching and linking between existing Web services and ebXML components.
For the EPR work the BCM's Choice Points technology is crucial and represent the service oriented and generic user controlled approach that is nesssessary in EPR.
It is also obvious that to make META models specifications on EPR top level terms ( as a superstructure) that interface by loosely couplings to the legacy and expert systems, the BCM template technology is of great importance both in the EPR META model specification tools and in the EPR runtime template execution process.
We have been working with this approach and
verifying that the BCM method does indeed provide
this functionality for EPR
