Validation - BCM V1.0 use experience

This is a formal note to the TC confirming our experience with

using the BCM specification.

 

Specifically the five steps taught in the method, and the layered

approach to problem definition.

 

This has been successfully used on two business analysis needs

relating to USGov use of XML for GPRA and GXJDM

implementation areas.

 

The BCM templates showed where the shortfall was occurring

in the overall planning and execution and allowed both a clear

picture to emerge of the requirements and also re-direction of

the technical work to ensure it was meeting those requirements,

driven by the business-needs, instead of an XD technology

focus predominating.
