Status of the TC

I've just spoken with Carl about the state of the BCM TC. I understand that there is some work likely to begin in the next few months, however in the interim we must get the TC back to acceptable participation levels if it is to continue.

The TC must, within the next 4 weeks, get back to a position where it's possible to achieve minimum membership. This means at least 5 voting members, including representatives from at least two member organizations. Since it's summer and any organizational members must first get approval from their company's Primary Representative I want to ensure sufficient time for processing. A meeting must be scheduled at the end of that 4 week period (week of August 16) or sooner. Attendance must be noted and recorded in the meeting minutes which must be posted to the TC email list. In the interim a summary of the anticipated future work items must be posted to the list. A second meeting must be scheduled shortly after the first so that those attending the two consecutive meetings can gain voting rights (no later than the week of September 6). The membership roster must then be updated to accurately reflect voting members. Periodic updates should be posted to the list by the chair of ongoing and planned work items. Once the TC has reached minimum membership it must update (clarify) its charter, noting a new deliverable schedule.
