Dear all,

If there is going to be a F2F then we may have to come to SF to participate. I think it would be unrealistic to hold this meeting without our full participation, given that Peter and I are frequent protagonists/contributors in these debates/our work

Perhaps we can use the teleconference today to set this up/find out whether it is feasible? At minimum timing and dial-up need to be such that we can take part remotely (i.e. in the morning West C. time).

Ales, this is pretty much what I had in mind. Apart from the Wednesday when I have prior engagements, I'm prepared to meet anywhere and anytime to try to put the finishing touches on our protocol. I believe Mark Potts said he might be able to set something up for JavaOne which would involve a dial-in facility, so hopefully that would allow those people who can't attend in person to still get in on the act.
