Subject: RE: [business-transaction] WS-I

Bill and Geoff,
I am all in favour of this direction too. Transaction coordination and
commitment management is one of the things that is needed to advance web
services into the business community. It may not be easy to convince all
of the players to put aside their individual strategies in favour of BTP
but perhaps they can be convinced that enabling real business interaction
sooner rather than later will help all of the companies interested in
web services.

Regards,
=bill

Bill,

This is the hope. Ideally, we would support the BTP specification within WS-I
.. however, I know there is considerable push back from companies that do not
participate in the BTP.
