Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (CAMP-74) Plans resource does not have Parameters

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CAMP-74?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=35875#action_35875 ]

Tom Rutt commented on CAMP-74:

Agreement at Issue Scrum: delete section 6.13. You cannot POST to a plan. To create an instance post to Assemblies with a relative URI of the plan. You can parameterize that POST. There is only one way to create a running app from a plan.

Add clarification on instantiating Assembly with reference to existing Plan Resource to 6.11, and modify summary text in last paragraph of 2.3. Be careful to distinguish between use of terms Plan file and Plan resource.

> We allow Parameters for PlatformComponentTemplate resources, but not the ApplicationComponentTemplate resources. This seems inconsistent and wrong. There are many use cases for parameterizing ApplicationComponentTemplates. For example, an Application Admin may want to deploy a WAR file using a context name other than the default.
