Subject: RE: [cgmo-webcgm] ISSUE: regex APS addressing

Summary of discussion during telecon of 5 Dec 2007:
The majority of vendors thought option 1 was the best choice, without
definite user requests.
The majority of the users indicated that option 3 was a "nice to have",
but could live with option 1

Lofton summarized that option 3 it is a utility feature that is not
critical to the standard.
Stuart said that this may become a bigger requirement as script writing
starts, particulary those developing animation through a DOM interface.

Status
No final decision made. I guess it's a matter of the amount of
perceived work to implement option 3 that needs to be clarified.

Subject: [cgmo-webcgm] ISSUE: regex APS addressing

No decision has been made on this requirement:

Options:
1.	Do nothing, except document how it can be done with WebCGM 2.0
2.	Provide a solution that uses regex to search "name" APSattr and
"id" only
3.	Design general solution that allows searching of any APSattr -
side effect is that "id" is not an APSattr
Proposal:
Option 3
