All,
I have corrected the MetaCheck errors and updated the HTML with the following verbage:
Passed if black arrow pattern shifts down and to the left.
Note: The intent of this test is to test if the pattern
shifts when the fill offset is changed. The referance image
only shows a representation of the pattern and not the exact position
of the arrows in the pattern relative to the orgin.

Attached is the screenshot from the initial MetaWeb view I am getting. Somebody should decide what is reasonable.
In the MetaCheck report look at element 32 where a private Escape element can be found.
