Subject: the tutorial/demo
About the WebCGM demo/tutorial on the web site (the ZIP archive): We will go ahead with its publication on the Web site. (I'll add the Netscape "#" caveat to the Readme). Don Larson had the good suggestion that it ought to be available in Binary (currently it is only Clear Text), since that is the WebCGM-legal requirement. Excellent idea. In the process of doing the conversion and verification (with CGMconvert), I noticed that MetaCheck complained about a few things. Some trivial, like "MAX VDC EXtent". Some profile complaints that I haven't had a chance to check out yet. I think I should fix them to make them pass MetaCheck, including WebCGM profile checking. I'll do this and replace the ZIP archive before making the public announcement.
