Subject: Re: [cgmopen-members] resources/products on web site

Resources/Products Listing on CGM Open Web Site

As previously discussed, it is proposed that the CGM Open Web site list
members' products with hyperlinks to members Web sites. The following
information would be presented

1. product name
2. hyperlink to web site (or specific pages)
3. brief descriptive phrase (skip for now)
4. classification (plug-in viewer, standalone viewer, print driver,
editor, ...)

Since I agreed to collect information for these listings, I now ask for
real data to work with. I will put together a proposal from the data
that I receive.

For now, please submit items 1, 2 and 4. I will attempt to put the data
in a trial format for posting. As a preliminary assumption, plan for a
link from each product to your own Web page or site. I envision two
listings; an alphabetical listing by vendor and a second alphabetical
listing by product category. If it is decided that item 3, a
descriptive phrase, be given for each product or service, I will request
and add that later.

For each product or service that you want listed, please give

	Company Name
Product Name or Service (without version numbers)
	Product or service category
Note: A product or service may have one or more categories.
See list of suggested categories below.
Link to your Web site or to a specific product page on your Web site.
Note: A hyperlink to a Vendor home page will require less
maintenance than a link
			to pages for specific products.

This information will support
