Subject: Re: [chairs] TC Teleconference Services questionnaire

I agree with Hal and Sanjay that you should be asking for input on
the members list, and in fact I'd like to extend this to all
questions about the OASIS infrastructure. All I can rightfully do
as chair is to forward these inquiries to the membership of my TC.
You can cut out an entire response cycle and get better input by
asking the members directly.

Agree with Hal. It would be harder for a TC chair to accurately
represent the entire TC's opinion in answering the second part. Instead,
the OASIS members could be directly contacted for the second part!

In filling out this questionnaire, I realized it is really two
   questionnaires.

The first part, factual data about a specific TC should properly
   be provided by Chairs.

The second part, opinions about OASIS policy should be asked of
individual members. My answers to the second part represent personal
opinions and not the sense of the TC, or even necessarily of my
   co-chair.

I recommend you split off the second part and allow any member
   to express an opinion.

	   Hal
