SOA, XML and Web Services Open Standards Conference, Sydney, Australia, November 2007

Hi,

Again this year I have been given the honour  to chair the
SOA, XML and Web Services Open Standards  Asia Pacific Conference
to be held in Sydney between in the second week of November 2007. This event
is held every year and is the biggest of its kind in the Asia Pacific region and is
in its 5th year. Call for papers and participation have been  announced. This year
the event focusses on the following,  but not limited to:

- governance and project management in the standards environment;
- techniques for calculating the cost and return on investment of standards;
- development techniques for improving the quality and performance of standards-based solutions;
- understanding the role of compliance;
- creating and managing company or industry group standards.

This year the event will bring experts from around the world including experts from
W3C, OGC, OASIS, LIXI, other standard bodies, government, vendors, solution providers,
and private organisations.
