Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (CMIS-441) remove XHTML propertytype
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-441?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14932#action_14932 ] Julian Reschke commented on CMIS-441: ------------------------------------- My experience is that adding property types later on can be painful, because generic code tends to be implemented in terms of big switch/case statements, and usually panics when it sees an unknown type. That being said, repositories do not need to implement -- AtomPub protocol layers need to. Pushing the responsibility to deal with tag soup to the client is IMHO the wrong approach. Also: we had commonly agreed to add the XHTML property type before, so I'm a bit surprised it gets reverted so easily. > remove XHTML property type > -------------------------- > > Key: CMIS-441 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-441 > Project: OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Reporter: Al Brown > > accepted > no vendors support today -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
