Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (CMIS-714) Proposal to addRetention & Legal Hold Policies for next version of spec
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-714?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=24959#action_24959 ] Florian Mueller commented on CMIS-714: -------------------------------------- A secondary type could be a virtual type and its property values could be generated or calculated at access time. A property value change on one object could automatically "update" other related objects. (It's not a real update per object. It's only updated in one central place). I admit that is might not be obvious. On the other hand, having the retention and legal hold properties on the object enables the use of CMIS queries. Especially, if a hold covers thousands of objects that could be handy. > Proposal to add Retention & Legal Hold Policies for next version of spec > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Key: CMIS-714 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-714 > Project: OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) TC > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: Domain Model > Reporter: Martin Hermes > > A new Draft Version 0.2 of the proposal to add Retention & Legal Hold Policies has been uploaded.
