Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (CMIS-714) Proposal to addRetention & Legal Hold Policies for next version of spec

Thanks Florian, I understand much better now. I think I can imagine how we would fit our 'Policy' model into a secondary type model.

Two questions:

1) I assumed that Retention and Hold policies would themselves be queryable (and join-able)?

2) If we have several different Holds (for several different court cases) in operation do we have one or several secondary types? I assume we must have several so that we can modify the generated property on the virtual type. So we have multiple virtual types all with the same properties but different (gernerated) values in the properties. So do these virtual secondary types inherit from an abstract secondary type?

> A new Draft Version 0.2 of the proposal to add Retention & Legal Hold Policies has been uploaded. Main differences to the previous version:
> - A "Managed Retention Policy" has been added to support repository-determined retention periods (Thanks to Jens)
> - Previous Retention Policy with expiration date and optional destruction date has been split into two policies: Retention Policy and Destruction Policy
> Feedback appreciated
