More Details on the F2F meeting

Just a few quick logistical notes on the upcoming F2F meeting:

· As David’s been encouraging, please add your name and company to the list on the wiki if you plan to attend in person: http://wiki.oasis-open.org/cmis/May%2024th-26th%2C%202011

o You have until the end of the week to get your names on there. If you need more time or there are any changes after that, please e-mail me directly.

· Microsoft will provide breakfast and lunch Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please let me know if you’d like a vegetarian meal plan or have any other special dietary restrictions.

· Not just final yet, but I’m trying to arrange it so that Microsoft hosts an informal dinner Tuesday evening after the first day of meetings. I’ll let everyone know when I finalize, but wanted to let people know ASAP in case they were making personal plans for the evening. If any other vendor would like to host/be involved in planning, please let me know.

· Images for Plugfest: We’ll have a set of labs set up and there should basically be one lab room per vendor attending or so. By default, the room comes with:

o An ability to plug in your own machine, connected to an internal network with access to other lab machines + the outside internet.

o A server-class machine connected to the internal network with access to other lab machines + the outside internet. Default image is Win2K8.

o If you’d like our team to have some other stock Microsoft machine image (e.g. Win 7), or have your own image you want to get to me (mail hard drive or something), please contact me this week!

o I’m going to assume most people are bringing their own machines with them, but we have the other options above just in case.
