Renato, very good point, thanks. This certainly simplifies the problem
dramatically (won't need to involve the w3c).

 So would defining such an attribute within this namespace (and forgive me
but I'm not sure what the namespace is, can you give me a pointer?)  be a
reasonable output of the TC?
