Thanks Joss, I'll hack at the words later.
I think there are a few useful additions perhaps: The idea that atoms are
independent allowing atoms from many sources to be combined for analysis
(much easier than trying to combine two stream of information like documents
describing behaviour - although need to say this succinctly). I also think
it is worth mentioning that there are a number of existing implementations
on many platforms - atom generators, data engines, hubs etc.

Dear all
 
I have spent some time looking at the other
IoT and Privacy-by-Design TCs and their sponsors to refine the audience
for some motivating words about the COEL specification.
 
In the attached document, the first page
is a summary of my research and the second page has my first attempt at
pulling together some words to promote COEL within OASIS. The remaining
pages have the background information.
 
Please, everybody, get involved and have
a hack at the words so we have better draft to discuss this Friday.
