Subject: Re: TAXII 1.2 & 2.0 Sub-Committee Nominations/Discussion

CTI-TC:

I think that all of us can agree that there is no one person that can match the dedication that Bret Jordan has shown throughout the course of the past couple of years in advancing the idea of STIX/TAXII and the technology that would compel it to function as THE frame of reference for threat intel sharing.

His recent work in developing a JSON set of Terms-of-Reference is just one example of his self-less dedication to this endeavor. Furthermore, I've seen him in action as a real-time advocate for STIX/TAXII in an international speaking engagement. His vendor-agnostic approach is exactly what we need for representing the standards development process in an even-handed manner that will engage others and gain international acceptance.

With this in mind, I'd like to nominate Bret Jordan as one of the Co-Chairs for the TAXII Sub-Committee.

Hi CTI-TC:

Here is a thread we can use to consolidate discussions/nominations on TAXII

At the end of the chat during the call on Thursday there was one nomination for a Chair Person for the TAXII Sub-Committee. That was for Bret Jordan.

Please add comments/thoughts here.
