CTI TC members:
We're in the home stretch of our first Borderless
Cyber event on 15-16 Sept at The World Bank in Washington, D.C.--and the response has been overwhelming. Here's a quick update on what's in store:
- Meet with your peers in a friendly setting. The attendee list is chock full of Diplomats, CISOs, Department Heads, CTOs, Analysts, Press...
- Only thing more impressive is the speakers list. Guest speakers
include: The European Commission's Chief Information Security
Officer, Former U.S. DHS Secretary, Government of Japan's NISC Cabinet
Secretariat, Israel Embassy Director of Cyber Cooperation, and many
more.
- Did we mention STIX and TAXII? Well, we will--loudly and often. Rich Struse and CTI members - Jason Corbin of IBM, Paul Kurtz of TruSTAR, and Ted Julian of Resilient Systems plan to chat up our CTI work during a session lead by Tim Wilson of Dark Reading.
- Get noticed. We'll be promoting CTI Sponsor companies during the breaks. Sponsors, be sure your marketing rep connects with dee.schur@oasis-open.org by Friday on this.
- Squeeze in. We're
at capacity now, but if you (or one of your VIPs) want to attend, send us a note and we'll accommodate if possible.
- Next best thing to being there. The World
Bank will be broadcasting the event live. (Link available
soon). OASIS will publish a post-event report with summaries of the
presentations, photos, and more exposure for our CTI Sponsors.
- Get on Borderless. We're considering locations/dates for the next Borderless Cyber, so if you have ideas or want to be part of the next Program Committee, let us know.
- Tweet your heart out. #BorderlessCyber
Finally,
whether we'll see you next week or you'll be cheering from the
sidelines, thanks. We couldn't do it without your support.
Kind regards, Jane
