April 19/20 F2F Meeting Update - IMPORTANT, LOCATION AND LOGISTICS CHANGE

Hello all. Logistics of the April 19/20 Face To Face session in the Washington area have slightly altered.

We have had unexpected demand for this session, and as such we had exhausted the capacity of the previous IBM location.

Gary Katz has very graciously volunteered up a new site at the DC3 facility in Linthicum (https://goo.gl/maps/VCruKrGW8VN2) which can hold far more people ( ~ 40+ people ).

We realize that the new location is 20-30 mins further from DCA and IAD airports, and will thus will be an inconvenience for people who already booked air travel to those locations. However, the consensus was that it would be far better to be able to accommodate participants willing to invest the time and money in attending the F2F, than to turn them away simply because we did not have space.

Here are the final logistics details for the F2F. If you have any questions not answered below, please reply.

- The address is 1190 Winterson Dr. Linthicum MD. 2nd floor. Gary is finalizing the entrance procedure and will be sending further details on this.

- We will be targeting an 8AM - 5PM working day on both days.

- There is an on-site deli and we will request people to remain on-site for lunch to minimize disruption.

- The new location is directly adjacent to BWI airport, so that is the best option for flights. If however you end up flying into IAD or DCA and are looking for transit information, here is where you can go - http://mta.maryland.gov/advisories/bwi-washington-national-or-dulles-airports

- If you are a foreign (non-US) national, please ensure Gary is informed of your status as this is a secure facility

- If you are planning on bringing a laptop or cell phone into the site (probably everyone), you MUST fill out this form attached and return it to either Gary or Rachael Azzolini - rachael.azzolini.ctr@dc3.mil - prior to the 19th.
