Hello Ate & all,Ok I've worked with Thomas and Chet on the agenda, and the good news is that although we will still use two days : April 29th & 30th, only the first day is official OASIS business. The second day will be dedicated to workshops, mostly trying to get the ball rolling, and don't worry if you can't attend, we will of course publish the results of these workshops as part of the work on the standard. So here is a PROVISIONAL agenda, possibly still to be adjusted a little if anything doesn't work out, but it looks pretty good to me (again thanks to Thomas & Chet for being so quick to answer).April 29th :9h30 - Arrival and croissants10h00-12h00 Start of formal meeting with chair election, proposal acceptance & official stuff from Chet12h00-13h00 Lunch13h00-14h30 Discussions on proposal, input from participants14h30-14h45 Break14h45-16h00 Organizing of teams and agreement on tasks16h00-17h00 Closing meeting, action items and next stepsApril 30th :9h30 Arrival and croissants10h00-12h00 Workshop12h00-13h30 Lunch13h30-15h00 Workshop15h00-15h15 Break15h00-17h00 WorkshopI've made sure we don't start before 10am so that leaves people some time to arrive from the airport, the train station or wherever they are coming from :)Please let me know if you want to suggest changes, at this point nothing is set in stone except for the April 29th date :)Best regards,Serge Huber.- -- --- -----=[ shuber at jahia dot com ]=---- --- -- -

Is there more concrete news/planning for the first f2f meeting in Paris?
This has been proposed to be held on April 29-30, but I also noticed a reference
to only April 29 (in this earlier email thread).
From Hippo, only Frank and myself will be able to attend in person, but we
actually are in a squeeze qua time because of other obligations.
If it would be feasible to do the f2f on a single day (either 29 or 30 April),
that would be our strong preference, allowing us to come in and go back on the
same day (by train from the Netherlands).
But that also depends on the agenda and schedule for this first f2f.
So, if anyone (Serge?) could enlighten us here, much appreciated.
Note: I first tried to send this email to cxs@lists.oasis-open.org but got it
bounced back because I'm not privileged (yet) to send emails to that list?
Kind regards,
Ate Douma
p.s. @Serge: I'll be at the ApacheCon in Austin Texas April 11-16, so if you're
coming also we could meet there as well.nominations for chair and the first meeting). We reviewed what willbe ready
I've already put people on it, hopefully it will happen soon :)
Best regards,
Serge Huber.

CXS TC proposers,
The convener call for the CXS TC took place today. On the call wereSerge
Huber, Thomas Sigdestad, Chet Ensign, Carol Geyer and Dee Schur.
We reviewed the comments I submitted to the oasis-charter-discuss@ mailing
list. The edits were accepted and we discussed how to address the first
meeting date. We reviewed the timing of the call for participation and the
first meeting date. I explained that the call can go out as late asMarch
15th in order to hold the first meeting as a face-to-face on April 29th.
Serge and Thomas want to hold the first meeting in person in order to make
quick progress on the spec.
I explained that for a face-to-face we will need a specific addressor
location within Paris provided in the charter. Thomas said that he will
check with his colleagues in Paris to see if the location can be arranged.
We reviewed the steps leading up to the first meeting (call for
participation, reminder of deadline to join with voting rights, call for
for the TC when the call goes out (TC main email list, TC internal web site
including the roster for joining, TC public web site).
Carol reviewed steps that will be taken for promotion and recruiting both
during the call for participation and after the first meeting. Carol went
over how OASIS will issue a press release after the first meeting.
Lastly we complimented the team on how they kept this effort going. We are
all really thrilled to see this initiative starting up. Serge told us that
they have been getting interest from Gartner analysts.
The next steps will be to make the decision on the first meeting, update the
charter and submit the final charter to OASIS. The final submissionneeds to
be by March 14th in order to enable the Call for Participation to go out in
time for the proposed first meeting date of 4/29.
Best regards,
