Review open action items  


  1. ALL: Participation  in the Review of the DITA Language Specification. Ongoing -- please discuss  progress
  2. ALL: Review the spec (re feature 12010 Domain and topic integration)  
  3. ALL: Review the list of documents that the committee has asked members to work  on.
  4. ALL: Review document on the PDF2/FOP/OT changes by Joe Gelb and Mathew  Varghese.
  5. ALL: Review Gershon's Action to the DITA TC to consider setting up a  Technical Communication Subcommittee. This committee would handle the  documentation of the Tech Comm specialization in the architectural  specification and the language reference, much like the Learning and Training  Subcommittee is handling the documentation of the L&T specialization.
  6. David Hollis to outline a best practices document from the  business cases.
  7. JoAnn to outline a Beginner's Guide to  Getting Output from DITA (tentative title).
  8. JoAnn: Discuss TC separation of  activities with Mary McRae -- J Hackos
  9. NEW: JoAnn invited all members to contribute on the facts sheet page that we have on the wiki.

Discuss plans for assisting the DITA TC with the documentation for the  multiple packages for DITA 1.2.
We now have multiple wiki pages for the  issues that we are discussing. Several of these should lead to best practice  documents.
