Subject: Re: DITA Listening Session Poll Questions

I like Kathy's approach to this. I tracked down the original polling questions (see below) and the two track nicely with each other, with the advantage that Kathy's version hits several key things within a single question.

For reference, here is the original list of polling questions:

DITA Usage Survey:

- How many people are using DITA 1.1?
- How many people are using DITA 1.2?
- How many people are using DITA 1.3?
- How many people are using constraints?
- How many people do filtering?
- How many are thinking about using filtering?
- How many people know what keys are?
- How many are using keys?
- For those not using keys, why not?
- How many people are using DITA troubleshooting
- How many are interested?
- How many know that I wrote a white paper on that and put it on OASIS?
- How many are using release management from DITA 1.3?
- How many are doing translation?
- Did you know that there are whitepapers on translation?
- How many are linking videos using the object tag?
- How many people are using L&T?
- How many are interested in it?
- How many people use machinery task topic type?
- How about the hazard statement domain elements?

Cheers!

Subject: [dita-adoption] DITA Listening Session Poll Questions

FYI – current status of registrations:

  • Europe: 40 registrations, 3 contributors
  • East: 46 registrations, 4 contributors

For the Listening Session webinars, we can have poll questions. The questions can be either multiple choice allowing only one answer or multiple choice allowing many answers.  You can have 5 choices per questions.

We can review during Monday’s meeting, but… What do you think of this format?  Did I miss anything?  Are there too many? Should the questions about “Features currently using” be “Features currently using or plan to use”?
