Subject: Re: [dita-comment] allow <appendix> in <part> for DITA 2.0?
I mean there exist in the world publications that have per-part appendixes. Those cannot be directly represented using DITA BookMap today. Hi all, Could you please consider allowing <appendix> inside <part> in a <bookmap> in DITA 2.0? <part href="rules/intro.dita"> <appendix href="rules/rules1.dita">...</appendix> <appendix href="rules/rules2.dita">...</appendix> ... </part> <part href="safety/intro.dita"> <appendix href="safety/requirements1.dita">...</appendix> <appendix href="safety/requirements2.dita">...</appendix> ... </part> Context: We are deciding whether to migrate from structured FrameMaker (~50 writers, ~200 books). Some of our larger FrameMaker books organize appendixes this way. This DITA enhancement would be timely.
