Subject: Re: [dita] Why does <glossgroup> not allow <titlealts>?
My memory is that the <glossgroup> was envisioned pretty much as a container for glossary entries, with no extra content -- title because it is required, and metadata because it lets you set the metadata once for all the entries. So there was no reason seen for titlealts, shortdesc, or body content. Those optional content elements were all left out, because nobody suggested a reason for them. No opinion offered here on whether that is still true, I'd be interested to see some reasons on how titlealts can / should be used.
