About
OASIS TC Open Repository: ÂThis repository provides storage for DITA specializations that may be useful across the DITA user community, but are not officially maintained products of the OASIS DITA TC. In some cases, they were originally developed within the TC, but are no longer considered part of the official DITA specification.

This repository was created to provide a home for a number of specializations, some originally created by the DITA TC, some created by DITA practicioners not working within the TC, to address particular content challenges. Â
Initially, this repository contains Âthe source for the following specializations:
1. Learning and training; this was previously delivered as Part 3 of the DITA standard
2. Machinery task; this was previously part of Technical Content, Part 2 of the standard
3. Task requirements; this was previousy part of the machinery task.
[Other possible candidates would be smaller specializations such as syntaxdiagram which are being removed from DITA 2.0.]
DITA practitioners who create specializations that provide functionality useful to other organizations, and who wish to Âshare them, should consider adding them to this repository. When adding an item, it should be added to this Readme so it can be easily found.
Maintenance of the items in this repository is at the discretion of the individual contributors who have added them.
