Subject: RE: DOCBOOK-APPS: Wrap text around images in PDFs, using xsl:fo
Apparently I need to pay more attention to the latest versions of the DTD. ;) (I really need to upgrade ours some day -- still using 3.something.) -----Original Message----- From: Bob Stayton [mailto:bobs@sco.com] Sent: Friday, March 14, 2003 1:27 PM To: Jeff Beal Cc: 'Claus Rasmussen'; docbook-apps@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: Re: DOCBOOK-APPS: Wrap text around images in PDFs, using xsl:fo On Fri, Mar 14, 2003 at 10:11:39AM -0500, Jeff Beal wrote: > Oh. For now, though, there's nothing in DocBook to support > floating images. (It might make a nice RFE, though.) Actually, the DocBook Technical Committee approved RFE 615473 on 19 November 2002 to extend 'float' in the DTD. In 4.2, there is just a 'float = yes|no' attribute on figure. We added a 'floatstyle' attribute to figure, example, table, and equation, of type CDATA with the documentation saying that it is expected to be a keyword that a stylesheet could act upon. Once that change is released in a new DTD version, the stylesheets can be modified to work with it.
