I guess this is an "E-mail" from someone "interested"... I've written (rather, adapted) a Java class for use with batik 1.5. You can download it at http://www.montefiore.ulg.ac.be/~piater/code/SVG2PS.java Disclaimer: This is code I wrote for my own needs. It works for me, but it might make your computer explode. Don't blame me. But you can e-mail me with questions. I also wanted to add that my home-brew solution for the other direction (EPS -> SVG) relies on pstoedit to produce Java, and then batik to produce SVG. I've experimented with several different multi-step conversions, and this one seemed to yield the best-quality SVG (though still far from perfect). Hope this helps, Justus -- Justus H.
