Subject: Docbook XML to Word(ML)?
Hello, what would be the best (most complete, most reliable, most configurable...) way to convert Docbook XML documents to Word files given that the final Word files must be compliant to a .dot template supplied by a customer? I thought about using an XSL stylesheet to convert the Docbook XML file to a WordML file using 4suite, load the WordML file into Word and, if required, do further manipulations not (easily) possible through XSL via the COM interface of Word using Python. I know of the XSL files at the docbook sourceforge site. How complete are these concerning support of Docbook elements and Word features? If someone knows about an FAQ or other on- and offline information about this topic, thanks for a corresponding reference. I searched the list on gmane.org, but couldn't find any corresponding messages in the past... TIA, Sincerely, Wolfgang Keller -- P.S.: My From-address is correct
