Take a look at Syntext Serna [1]. It's not perfect, but it's cross-platform and gets the basic job done.

Hi,

 

I am quite new to DocBook editing and more familiar to FrameMaker way of working.

 

Does there exist any good DocBook editing software, that works in both windows and linux, which lets me view both the raw text and a preview more like a WYSIWYG mode?
