... as otherwise it's in the middle of a single quoted string, 
which obviously breaks it.

The effect is then, that the navigiational ToC does not show up at all.

Who would be so nice to fix this?


Replacing it with &apos; doesn't really help either,
as during the transformation towards HTML+JS "&apos;" gets replaced by a single quote again.

The background:
I am currently converting "svnbook", which is quite a lengthy db4.4 document, into Slides,
and its authors seem to love using single quotes within titles.
