 a. public identifiers for SC created variants
    - use existing guidelines from http://www.docbook.org/tdg5/en/html/ch02.html#s-pid-sid-catalogs
and http://www.docbook.org/tdg5/en/html/ch05.html#s-notdocbook
For example: -//OASIS//DTD DocBook for Legal Publishers V1.0//EN

7. Proposed Roadmap
 Scott reviewed.

ACTION: Guidelines to Norm for RC5 changes and modularity in next few days - Scott

Jim - What modules are we looking at? For the first release, should specific modules be addressed? Perhaps as follow on releases:
Hardware
Software
Medical
Legal
Educational

8. Discussion of elements marked "M" or "maybe" from:
http://wiki.docbook.org/topic/PublishersMinimalElements

annotation - cool and powerful, but have to be serious about markup to use effectively.
SC feels it is useful as a separate module. (already the case)

arc - modularize extendedlink, locator and arc as a separate xlink module. (already the case)

col (and all the other html table model elements) - separate module. (already the case)

Norm provided a brief history of why there is both CALS and HTML tables in DocBook now.

productname, productnumber - keep as part of Core

sect1-sect5 - Gary - tax code can go through about 10 levels of sections. Would be better to have any number of levels by using the recursive. John - they use up through sect9, so they'd have to customize anyway.
Group - consensus that section is the preferred method. (already the case)

section - keep as part of Core

simplesect - semantic distinction is that they never appear in the TOC. Keep.

ACTION: Update wiki to reflect decisions - Scott

9. Review of Requests for Enhancement
 a. section in sidebar - many examples where content is outside the narrative flow. May need a very robust model. Perhaps create a different element name? feature? --No, section should be sufficient. ACCEPTED. Should also drive forward as an RFE for full docbook to the TC.
b. mediaobject to person and org - examples from O'Reilly and other publications. ACCEPTED. Should also drive forward as an RFE for full docbook to the TC.
