Subject: Bug in Simplified DocBook V1.1CR1
I found this while testing the unflattened 'sdocbook-custom.dtd': Starting around line 53 of the character entity module, sdbcent.mod, the system identifiers to the three character entities: - ISOlat1 - ISOnum - ISOpub refer to an installation-specific location. E.g. <!ENTITY % ISOlat1 PUBLIC "ISO 8879:1986//ENTITIES Added Latin 1//EN//XML" "../../xmlcharent/iso-lat1.ent"> The reference to ../../xmlcharent/iso-lat1.ent is invalid on most systems. I know that the catalog system ought to be able to find the entities using the FPIs, but shouldn't the SYSTEM ids also be valid, as is the case with full DocBook XML? Maybe a the entity files ought to be included in the distribution?? Norm: Should/can I file a bug for this at sourceforge? (i.e. is there a module for Simplified DocBook?)
